The congress was opened officially by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd. Najid bin Tun Abdul Razak.

The President of the MCA, Dato’Seri Dr. Chua Soi Lek, in his summary and accordingly to the consensus, passed a 13 point resolutions for the submission to the central Government. Among them were ….In line with the promotion of good governance and greater transparency, the Congress urges the Government to practice “open tender system” in the government procurement to achieve a level playing field in the local business environment, and a gradual removal of 30 % Bumiputra equity in all sectors of the economy.

Many Chinese have forgotten that at one time or another, he or she or event their parents seek help from the Malaysian Chinese Association(MCA) in terms of education, secured scholarship and education grants, emplacement of studentship in national college or university, or even admission to the TAR College, a educational arm of MCA.
ReplyDeleteIt is ashamed that these benefited persons still insist that MCA has done nothing to the Chinese Community for the past 50 years since Malaya then Malaysia independence.
What has other Chinese-based or multi-racial political society( DAP or even PKR )? The type of political society just speaks and criticize what other has not done right according to their definition of theer own right or truth.
They just blow the large trumpet and then clap hands at the side, even their own members or helpers /supporters fallen into the drain at its premises. "Oh no, it is not my duty to pick them up". The BN govt. will do it. It is the govt. responsibility.
